Emma’s POV

Everything else in my life is upended. I have a billionaire boyfriend Jordy who keeps dating me, and he wants to present me to the world soon.

Very soon. The sooner the worse.

Because Jordy's brother Austin is also curious about me, just like his older brother Jordy. And Austin goes to the coffee shop and sits for a very long time, his eyes concentrating on me like crazy.

I'm forced to set a plan in motion to ensure these two brothers will not have a chance to meet each other and avoid that one day they're accidentally known both curious about one woman - me.

Now I have been studying at Nevermore for a few weeks and am trying to throw myself into things.

The first two weeks are technically freshers’ weeks, and I see them everywhere. I am bemused to find myself noticing the legibility of my unease.

I’m going out as much as I can, beating down the reluctance that rises up my throat every night, ignoring the feeling that I’d have a better night if I just, I think, stay in bed.
