AmeliaThe bus ride to Elija's territory took us a few hours. And during those hours, Liphe was the most annoying person ever. She kept asking me about things, how I met James, how I was saved, how I ended up in Stanley's house and among other things that I felt compelled to tell. He listened to me attentively and my stories seemed to at least kill his boredom. And when we were arriving, I felt a giant relief. Both for having stopped talking and for having vented a little.We got off the bus and it was the first time I was stepping into Elija's territory."Amelia..." AmeliaIf I had done a good job? This was a real home again. There was a bookcase that had everything knocked over like someone had thrown it and it all fell to the floor. The chairs were overturned as if they didn't care at all, as if they hadn't even been in here any time. The kitchen cupboards were untouched, no one had moved yet, but the sofas, they were out of place and there was a huge broken vase in the dining room. I had to clean everything up and sweep up all the dirt on the floor.
