I blinked my eyes open and looked around me, scrambling to get into a sitting position as a small wave of panic fluttered into my chest. Where was I? I thought, trying to adjust to the darkness of the small space as well as the coldness of the floor. A shiver ran through me and I called out to my wolf to offer me some body heat, but she was absent and didn't answer. At that point, my head began to ache so I subconsciously raised my hand to rub at it which was when I noticed Sharon lying at a corner opposite me. Her eyes were closed and I crawled over to her immediately, my heart beating wildly in my chest as I feared for the worst.
