Chapter eleven

Lucifer's POV

I returned back to the pack house with Kill. We had gone scouting the land in Edinburgh that the warlords had taken over.

We returned back home late to analyze our research, their weak points and their defense. We were yet to discover their strategies. From our own angle, they were getting very prepared for what was coming and they could prove very difficult to subdue.

"Alpha." Sia said sweetly coming close to me.

"We'll discuss about the warlords tomorrow, Kill. Get some rest." I said to him.

He stared at me in surprise and then nodded. What baffled him was when I told him to rest. I was known in the pack not to give him or any of the warriors breathing space.

They had to work tirelessly including the servants too. Everyone was to work for the pack without rest.

"What is it, Sia? You do not have better things to do than disturb me?" I shot her an annoying look.

"Oh, Lucifer, you should not say that to me." She said coming close to touch my arm.
