THE INTRUDER TRAPPING MECHANISM
A shrill tune sounded in the room and the screen lit up with a call request from the authorities. Though why it was said to be a call request, Arnold had no idea. It wasn’t as if someone could dare to decline it.
His hands quivered as he chose ‘pick up the call in manual mode’ instead of brainwave mode. He could only hope that his choice was accepted.
He let out a sigh of relief when the call got connected.
