Chapter Eight: Fire And Water

I followed her through the forest but wasn't prepared for how fast she was.

I'm the quickest wolf in my pack, but this wolf had a higher rate. I really had to push myself to keep up with her. I was surprised by her reaction. What made her run away from me? I would never do anything to hurt her. I just wanted her to talk to her. To find out who I'm meant to be with.

Luckily for me, she was running straight for my border, and I mind-linked my guardians, the gray twins, to stop them from running further. And seconds later, I hear them stumble down on the ground. I didn't want her to see me as a threat, so I decided to change into my human form, even though my wolf Nero was hesitant. But it was as if I could reach her like this. I didn't have a change of clothes, so I guess I will go commando.
