Chapter 9

Ava POV

When Isaiah told me that Kayla might have gotten her lycan or wolf, I was happy. I wanted so badly to talk to her about it, but he told me to let her tell us. So that's what we did. It took a few days. When she came down to talk, I had a feeling she was going to tell us. I was prepared. She was going to be a lot faster and a lot stronger now. I just hoped she would be prepared for it. When she finally told us, I jumped up, hugging her tightly. I realized she couldn't breathe when she tried to talk. I chuckled, letting her go so she could breathe. Her father smiled, hugging her as well. When she left the room, I spoke to my husband.

“Do you think she will be alright? She has both just like your father. Do you think we should speak with him about this?”

"Just might. I'll mindlink him tomorrow and ask him to come over. But we do not tell Kayla about this at all. I don't want her to feel uncomfortable about people knowing right now.” I understood what he meant. Kayla is a private person. She doesn’t like the attention that some people like. She would rather stay in her room reading a book or going with her father to get collections. Everything is changing, and it's going to change fast. It is what it is. But I know we need to get some advice. Isaiah only has a wolf, as do I. Not sure about his sisters and brothers, but I knew that his parents are lycan and wolf. We need to get prepared for this, the faster, the better. When we went to bed, I knew I was exhausted; I’ve been like this for a few weeks now. So, I knew what was going on. While he would be talking to his father, I would be at the doctor's getting the results of my test. I needed to know for sure before I tell him. Kayla has been our only child for many years. I think it’s time to give her a brother or sister. I wanted to tell her in secret, knowing she wouldn’t tell her father until I got back from the doctors.

When morning came, Isaiah mind-linked his father. I told him I would be back in a few hours. I was taking Kayla with me. He didn't ask where I was going. So, I felt that after I get done with the doctors, no matter what the results were, we would go shopping. I'll pick him up a shirt or a pair of jeans. His clothes are getting pretty old, and the bloodstains aren’t coming out like they used to, so it’s time for him to get some new clothes.

Isiah pov

When we got up, I mindlinked my father. I needed his advice on things. Ava was going out, my mind was racing and I forgot to ask her where she was going. She did take Kayla with her, so I'm sure they can’t get into too much trouble. But then again, she does have Kayla with her, When dad came into the office, he handed me a folder, 

“This is for you son, these are the half i never found, so since your so good at finding these mother fuckers, i give them to you,” before I started looking through them i spoke to my fther, 

‘Dad, Kayla told us that her lycan surfaced a few days ago. They won’t shift until her twenty-first birthday. What I'm asking from you is answers: Is she going to be okay? How hard is it going to be on her when she shifts into both.” My father had a huge smile on her face like he knew something i did not know. Now i really want to know, 

‘Son, She will be alright. She is tough as nails, she knows her stuff, she reads a lot and she trains with your mother and you, yes it's going to hurt like h3ll but other than that, she will be fine, her lycan will take most of the pain away, but she is still going to hurt, so you and her mother will need to be there, by the way, i'm going on your next collection, I know this son of a bitch, he owes me money, and i want it back,” i started laughing, i was wondering when my father was going to start missing going on collections, every now and then he will get a wild hair up his ass and he would want to go, i never say no to my father, he lives for this, I might be the mafia king now, but in my heart and head, he will always be the king of mafia, he has taught me so much, and i go by his rules, never take mercy on anyone, including if they try to harm any of the family, rip them apart then ask questions later, I am still glad that mom and dad found their way back together, dad just was not the same without her, After our talk we both went outside to train for awhile, and as always dad kicked my ass, he might be a old man, but nhe is still a bad ass, a few hours later Ava and Kayla finally came home, she had shopping bags in her hands and so did my daughter, goddess what did they get now, she had a huge smile on her face, when she handed me three shopping bags, what the hell was this? i started pulling out clothes that were my size, oh so they went shopping okay, and then something caught my eye, there was a file at the bottom of the first bag, picking it up i opened it then started reading it, it was all weird looking numbers then the words i saw, i almost dropped the file, positive pregnancy results, dropping the file down on the desk, i picked her up swinging her around laughing with joy in my heart, 

‘Is this really for real? we're going to have another baby after all these years?” I heard her beautiful giggle  she looked me right in the eyes, then said the words i was wanting to hear her say, 

‘Yes baby, we are going to have another child, I am a few weeks pregnant, I can still go on collections, just need to be more careful now,” 

“Yeah about that, dad wants to go tonight, so the suv is going to be crowded, im going to give him the lead tonight, i hope you don’t mind, 

“Of course not darling, that is your father, why would i mind, come on to the bedroom and let me show you what else i got, she winked at me, knowing full well what she has plans, 

‘Hmm. Kayla, go do whatever you want to do. Your mom wants to show me what else she got.” 

‘Ewwww dad, mom, i don’t want to hear that. That's how she got in that way in the first place.”m we all started laughing as i walked up with my mate to our room,  this is not the only thing i'm going to do to my loving mate, when we get up there, I can’t wait to get her alone so i can show her how happy she just made me
