The Trip

The months went by quickly between work and school. I managed to get out to see my parents. They were excited for my new opportunity but wanted me to call when I got there. I found out after reading the whole contract that I'd be able to use the company phones to contact my family but was told all calls are recorded. They can not risk any information getting out about the ground breaking technology they have created. I spoke with Dr. Clark about what he knew. He assured me they are an upstanding company that values loyalty. I understand now.

It's only a few weeks until I leave now. I'm getting excited for my paid internship. I'll be a great experience and a nice change of pace both in my career and in my surroundings. Going from the city of L.A. to the mountains of Colorado will be a welcomed change.

I'm at work. Hudson walks in so he can go over all the arrangements. I'm not sure why this couldn't just be an email. He makes me nervous while my stomach does flip flops! I c
