Big change

My foggy brain begins to clear and I remember the boat. Hudson is looking at me with such concern on his face. He touches my cheek and tells me “Everything is okay now. Trevor tried to wreak into us. Security was docked on shore because they are never far from me. They were able to crash into Trevor’s boat and board it. Unfortunately, Trevor fired at my security team when they boarded his boat and they shot back killing him.” I blink slowly at him taking it all in. Trevor is dead! I am relieved and saddened at the same time. Once upon a time I did love him but, he turned into a monster, someone I didn’t know. Someone who was stalking me. I shudder. I still can’t believe this is real! Hudson breaks the silence saying simply “I love you and I’m glad you are not injured.” I whisper back “I love you too!”
