For the past two days, I've been holed up in my apartment. I was either sulking or working, either way, it helped me steer clear of Etienné. An achievement I was proud of.

I had switched off my phone to avoid any distractions while I worked. I booted my phone hoping Lila hadn't sent a search and find party because she couldn't reach me. Thinking about it, in some ways Lila was like an elder sister. She was protective of me.
