Third Person's POV

Silver slid under the duvet with her. The air was full of tension, silence was making it worse.

"What are you doing?" Elizabeth asked, worry written all over her face

"Look at her," Silver peered down at her and placed the back of her hand against her cheek, ''Her skin is cold. Her lips are turning blue. We can't let her die. She's our friend."

"I've talked to mom. The book is the only solution." Elizabeth said, flickering her gaze out of the window. The night was dark, with no star, no moon.

"How could Dastien leave her to deal with everything on her own when she doesn't know a thing about our world?" Silver muttered, under her breath.

They were worried and frightened of the result of the curse being brought to their friend's life. They were feeling helpless, though they could do a lot of things. They were waiting for some miracle to happen, see her walking normally, and headed to the washroom to brush her teeth and then demand to hurry.

"We should call our parents. Could be... They know some ancestors, who could help us to save her." Elizabeth whispered, looking at her friends.

She was lying unconscious, drifting toward her death, every second of her life, her breathing was also turning cool.

The door opened of the cottage. Lonan and some women walked in. Elizabeth's glassy gaze turned to them, "They're healers. They'd gain us a lot of time." He said, without wasting time.

"Gain time for what?" Silver's teeth chattered as she tried to warm her friend, curling her arm around her, almost engulfing her. She was aware her mate could feel it too.

"To persuade the Dark Witch to come here and stay with her son," Lonan said.

"Can't Justice go there to stay with her?" Elizabeth asked.

"Don't you remember what she said to him? She doesn't want him to do it because it was written all over his face." Silver pulled the duvet closer to her chin.

"You're not helping," Jasper said, coming from behind. He shook his head in disapproval.

"You're right. Her cold would kill me." Silver slid out and stood on her feet. Relief could be seen over her face as warmth enclosed her again.

Lonan motioned them to start. They were wearing white cloaks, their hair tied in a low ponytail. They were much older but looking in their thirties.

Silver stepped back, "We should go."

"No, need," Teal said, walking into the room. She was breathing deeply. Her friends were trailing behind them.

Relief washed on all faces when Justice walked in with Dark Witch.

     "Thank, goodness," Silver muttered.

"We have to wait for the exact time." The Dark Queen muttered.

They exchanged looks but no one questioned her.

Eleanor walked over to the bed. Her gaze darted out of the window. The sun was about to rise soon. She opened her arms and closed her eyes.

Her hands were glowing with dark blue purple light. Her lips were moving, repeating the spell rapidly. She didn't let her gaze break from her. The duvet caught fire. The room filled with squeaks.

"Fire can't burn her," Justice said.

"She's a fire wolf," Jasper agreed.

Their words couldn't placate fear for her, "I'll be in the hall," Elizabeth turned on her heels and rushed out of the room. As she couldn't see her friend in pain.

Silver glanced at them with wide eyes. Her eyes turned glassy.

Eleanor took out a small gem from the secret pocket of her cloak.

"Stone of the ocean," One of the healers said.

"With the flower from the soil, water from the ocean, the fire of heart, Wind from light, Blood from cold will giver her new birth," Lonan repeated the words.
