He could feel his blood burning and his fingernails growing into claws. The flashers on police patrol vehicles shone through Detective White’s apartment. The quiet night was no longer quiet anymore even with the loud music turned off. It didn’t end well for Lucas’ friends from Orleans High. They have been declared maimed by a wild bear by the police precinct headed by Captain Harris. Lucas’ birthday party was ruined and his father’s house was considered an act of crime scene with yellow tapes around the house bearing, ‘POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS.’ The attack on Lucas’ friends from Orleans High was bloody. The entire house is stained with blood. Captain Harris was the first to arrive at the scene when Detective White’s neighbors placed several distress calls. His heart was ripped out.” Jane stares with disbelief and at the same time wonders who might have taken the corpses.
