Wedding!

Inside a luxurious room, Rose stood near the mirror, looking at her reflection. Her white wedding dress, impeccably tailored, adorned her with elegance. Delicate net sleeves, embellished with white beads, embraced her hands and a sweetheart neckline graced her with perfection. The veil cascaded gracefully that added an extra touch of enchantment.

The diamond necklace delicately embraced her neck, complementing her honey - bright skin tone. Her luscious, brown hair were intricately gathered in a bun, with softly curled locks framing her face. The minimal makeup she wore only accentuated her innate innocence, showcasing her natural and breathtaking beauty.

Despite the magnificence surrounding her, an inner turmoil overshadowed her joy on this significant day—her wedding. The diamond bracelet gleamed on her wrist, a symbol of her Dream and the most cherished possession she owned. It spoke volumes about the love she once had but now lost. Her gaze lingered on it which was a painful reminder of the person who gifted it to her, the one she loved more than anything but could never call her own. Regret enveloped her as she pondered why she devoted herself to a forbidden love, a man forever out of her reach.

Frustration fueled her remembering the relentless efforts she made to capture his attention, to show him the depth of her love, but it all proved futile. He never paid her any attention.

Getting frustrated over this she forcefully removed the bracelet and stormed to the balcony with the intent to throw it. Yet, her heart intervened, a painful hesitation. She couldn't bring herself to cast away the bracelet; it felt like hurling her own heart into the abyss. A sole tear escaped her as a testament to her weakness, a weakness that led her to compromise her life. He was the source of her vulnerability, he was the reason that compelled her into a marriage with a man she barely knew—a man 30 years her senior. At 20, she found herself bound to a 50-year-old stranger, a consequence of her anger towards him. She agreed for this marriage just to get rid of his thoughts.

As she wiped away her tears, she returned to the room and carefully placed the bracelet in her suitcase. At that moment, the door creaked open, revealing her father dressed in a black suit with a bow. Anger surged within her; she hated him for arranging her marriage to the elderly man. Yet, intertwined with her anger was a deep sadness. She couldn't escape the reality that she agreed to this union, a choice born from a life devoid of any other options.

There was nothing left in her life; she didn't want to live with her gambler, drunk-addicted father for her entire life, as except for him, there was no one left in the family.

"It's time," her father said, and she felt a knot tighten in her stomach. She gazed at herself in the mirror and adding final touch she nodded with a heavy heart as she stepped out. She walked alongside her father with a bouquet in hand, the echoing clicks of her heels on the tiled floor were the only audible sound.

"If your mother were alive, she would have been so happy seeing you like this," her father said, but his words fell on deaf ears. Her heart ached with sorrow—not for the absence of her mother, but for the shattered dreams of a life with him. Today, she walked down the aisle to marry someone else, carrying the weight of a love lost.

The grand doors swung open, and she walked down the aisle, hand in hand with her father, head bowed. A palpable hush surrounded her as the gaze of the assembled guests bore into her. Summoning every ounce of courage, she dared to raise her eyes. There he stood, next to the priest, her dream man—a vision of handsome grace, smiling at her. Her steps halted in sheer disbelief. Is he really here? Is she going to marry her dream man Darian?

A soft whisper came from her father urging her forward, and she glanced at her father in disbelief, struggling to digest the surreal reality that she was marrying the love of her life. Yet, when her gaze shifted back to the altar, the crushing truth hit her like a wave. He wasn't there. Desperation filled her eyes as she searched for him in vain. The cruel reality shattered her dreams, breaking her heart.

This wasn't new—it was a recurring problem, she used to have hallucinations of him. Tears welled up as her eyes met an old man in a wheelchair, his body paralyzed. The shocking revelation unfolded; the man she was about to marry bore no resemblance to her Dream man .

Her father entrusted her to him, and a wave of discontent washed over her as she beheld her elderly, handicapped husband. He wasn't the one she had envisioned, but choices seemed nonexistent.

However, she was at least satisfied with his wealth and affluence; David Blackstone, owner of numerous countrywide hotels, offered financial security and plus he had no heirs, no one who could take his wealth after him beside her now.

As she sighed deeply, she went through the motions of the wedding rituals, uttering the solemn "I do" that bound her life to his. In her heart, she whispered an oath to forget the one she truly loved. The weight of a love abandoned settled on her as she vowed to belong solely to her husband, David. a palpable sadness clung to her, marking the sacrifice made for stability over desire.

Seated in the sleek black car after the wedding and reception, she prepared to embark on the journey to her new home and a new chapter of life. A sense of contentment washed over her as she observed the wealth surrounding her, finding solace in the promise of a luxurious existence. A smile played on her lips as she admired the sizable diamond ring gracing her finger. Yet, the absence of a once-cherished bracelet served as a poignant reminder that caused a subtle ache in her heart. Choosing to look out of the window, she averted her eyes, concealing the bittersweet emotions.

The car door swung open, and with the assistance of the guards, her handicapped husband settled beside her. Gently aiding him to a comfortable position, she smiled at him, and he returned the gesture, admiration evident in his gaze. As the driver started the car, conversation unfolded. Despite her initial disappointment, she maintained a facade of sweetness by engaging in small talk. In the midst of her loathing she faked admiration, as now he was the sole and only support left for her.

His paralyzed half didn't hinder his ability to speak entirely, and they exchanged words about various topics.

"I h...h...hope you are hap...happy," he stammered, to which she replied,

"Yes... I am. You're a very kind-hearted person. I feel safe and comfortable with you." He smiled at her words, expressing gratitude.

"I...I will protect you... Don't be... Be...sad now. I will also try... try to reopen the case of your mother and...and sister to find their...mur...murderer," he assured, his determination breaking through the barriers of his inability to speak properly.

Hearing this, fear gripped her, and her face twisted as she hastily uttered, "No, no need for that... I mean, it's in the past now. I don't want to remember all those things again. You don't have to reopen the case." He nodded in understanding, but the fear lingered, causing her to look out of the window and desperately trying to calm her thumping heart.

Soon, the mansion came into her sight, and a sense of admiration swept over her as she marveled at her new home.

In the luxurious washroom, she stood before the opulent mirror, carefully applying lip gloss to enhance her lips' allure. With a graceful motion, she released her hair from its bun, letting it cascade down to her waist. Cloaked in a sheer pink night dress that delicately reached her thighs, she ran her fingers over the luxurious fabric with a sense of satisfaction. Completing the ensemble, she adorned herself with a delicate net robe, adding an extra layer of elegance to her presence.

As her eyes met the reflection in the mirror, a sigh of contentment escaped her, reveling in the image of sophistication that adorned her. But a sudden twist of fate revealed him standing beside her—Darian, the embodiment of her dreams, his name was etched upon her heart. The shock of his presence left her breathless, and as his strong arms enveloped her waist, the fragrance of his breath mingling with the scent of her hair sent waves of goosebumps rippling across her entire being due to the electrifying closeness they shared.

She quivered at his touch, a tantalizing graze of his finger tracing lightly over her cleavage. A blush ignited on her cheeks as his gaze, a captivating shade of forest green, locked onto hers—the most enchanting eyes in existence. Surrendering to pleasure, she closed her eyes as he left wet, warm kisses upon her neck, each sensation a precious indulgence. A burning desire surged within her, her core pulsating with the longing to fully embrace him. She turned around yearning for his warm lips to meet hers.
