LUCAS POV

After comforting her to ease the tension, she quietly left my office. I stood up from my sofa, walked down the massive oak tree table and slumped down into my executive chair.

I remember meeting Noami at a countryside bar where I went to watch a show. She was seated adjacent to me, and she was just watching the show with a blank expression. Despite her blank expression, I saw the beauty radiating from the inside.
