Kayla’s POV The sound of my phone won't let me have a peaceful sleep. I rolled continuously on the bed, unable to get up. I stretched my hand towards the table and after the third attempt, I caught it. “Isn't too early” I groaned, placing the phone close to my ear. “This is the only time I can get you to pick up my call” My face hardened at the sound of the voice. I jotted up the bed and continued. “What do you want?” “ A very pleasant way to talk to your mother Hun? After refusing to pick up my call all day” “You almost had me lose my job today!” I snapped, pissing out. I don't know why she finds it hard to understand that I do not want to talk to her. “It's just a job; I mean, you could find another,” she responded, feeling nonchalant about it. “Mom!” I screamed, “Well, I'm not surprised; you always want everything ruined, just like you did six years ago,” My voice broke.
