Bianca didn't miss the look on Ethan's face when she announced the news.

But looks didn't change paternity. 

“It can't be true,” Ethan declared, pushing his way in.

Bianca closed the door and followed him. With this pregnancy, she would be able to lay hold of Ethan. She couldn't let him go again. 

“What do you mean it can't be true?” She demanded. 

Ethan stopped, sighed, and faced her. “You can't tell those things in just a week, Bianca.”

She held her tummy. “Yes, you can.”

“Was this why you came to see me? So you could get pregnant and force a union?”

Even though it was the truth, it hurt Bianca to hear them from him.

“Why would you say such a thing? I had no intention to —” she stopped and exhaled. “I came because I wanted you back. I've missed you, Ethan. But this baby is unplanned.”

And wasn't even his. But she needed an anchor otherwise she was going to lose. And she couldn't lose. Not when Pa Frey was solidly behind her.

“I can't have a child,” Ethan hissed.

A lot of things boiled in his head. The recent altercation with his son was one of the troubles that bothered him. The last thing he needed was Bianca. She was just a weekend mistake. One he should have had restraint over. 

And because of her, the distance between him and Abigail widened. He had thought initially that he could use her to get Abigail jealous. But he hadn't thought about it well enough. If he had, he would have known that it would only make her distance herself as she was currently doing.

Then there was the rogue's attack and Damien's recent claim that they were targeting his pack.

He had too much to focus on than a pregnant Bianca.

“What do you want me to do?” Bianca asked, her question slicing through the air. “Get rid of it?”

He didn't say anything but the way his eyes darkened told her what he wanted already.

“I can't,” she declared. “It's too late, Ethan.”

“What's too late?”

“I was live when I did the test…and everyone knows.”

Everyone knows?

Ethan was going berserk. 

“What the hell does that mean, Bianca?” He walked towards her. “What have you done?”

She shook her head innocently, when, a few hours ago, she had intentionally stood in front of her phone, live, and revealed that she was carrying a second child for Alpha Ethan, and even hoped it was a girl as Liam had always wanted one.

Ethan was watching the video now, his face twisted into disgust. 

He grabbed her hand. “I want this deleted immediately!”

This was going to ruin everything. And it began to occur to him that Bianca had a carefully laid out plan to ruin things with Abigail for him.

“I can delete it,” she said. “But it wouldn't change the fact that I'm carrying your baby and the public already knows…and the public includes Pa Frey.”

“Fuck!”

He stomped his foot in frustration. “You're working with my father, aren't you?”

Bianca shook her head innocently. “,When he saw the video, he called me. I swear it, babe. I didn't mean for this to happen. I was just kidding around and —”

“Kidding?!” He turned away biting his lips. When he faced her again, his brows were lowered. “You're going to debunk it, Bianca. You're taking the fucking phone and look into the camera and say it's not true. You were only kidding. And…I want you out of here by morning.”

Bianca stared at him defiantly. Not only was she not going to debunk the news, she wasn't going anywhere.

“You want me gone because of her, don't you? It's that little girl who's younger than your son!”

He squeezed his fist, restraining himself. He had never hit a woman before and Bianca would not make him. 

“I just want you gone by morning, Bianca. And that's final. I don't care if you've shared the video with the whole world or if you have backing from my father.”

He stormed out of the room, too angry to remain in the same space with her.

He should have known the first day she came to him. Bianca had always been manipulative. But he had been too angry at Abigail and now he was realising that everything had been his father's doing.

But it was too late for regrets. The deed was already done and Bianca was claiming she was pregnant when. He was making plans to mend things with Abigail. He threw off his shirt and shed off his trousers. Once in bed, he grabbed his phone, trying to reach Abigail. 

That was when he realised that she had blocked him. 

He flung the phone aside and fixed his gaze on the ceiling above, wondering what he could do to get her forgiveness..

Meanwhile, Bianca paced around in the sitting room, thinking of how to placate Ethan and convince him that a new baby was going to be the best way for them to start all over again. She had no plans of even keeping the pup. Once it had grown in size, Ethan would know that it wasn't his.

She had just a month to convince him before announcing a miscarriage. 

She attempted going to the room. Maybe if he saw her naked again, he would forget about his anger and they would start afresh again. But as she turned the knob of the door, she realised that it was locked.

“Ethan?” She called. “Are you really keeping me out?”

She tapped on the door again. 

Realising he wasn't going to open the door, she turned away. The guest room was available and that was the only place she could spend the night. As she sat on the bed, she bit her lips angrily.

What was even special about her? That personal assistant. 

How could she make Ethan behave this way?

She shook her head defiantly. No way was she going to leave. She had to stay even if it meant taking more drastic action. If her fake pregnancy was not enough to keep him glued to her, then it was time to unleash more.
