AMARA POV.

“Lilly, this is my big brother, Alex.” I said and the little girls face lit up. “Hi!” She said excitedly and before Lena could stop her, Lilly had hopped on top of her stool and jumped into Alex’s arms. Shock registered on his face for a moment before he laughed at the girl. “Hello Lilly, it is nice to meet you.” My brother said with a wide smile and he looked to Lena. “I didn’t know you had a little sister; she looks just like you.” Alex commented, smiling but he quickly noticed the silence from everyone until I spoke.

“Alex. Lilly isn’t Lena’s little sister; she is her daughter.” I corrected him. Alex’s head snapped to mine before he looked at Lena and then to the little girl again. Lilly still had her wide smile on her face and it was like it was contagious because Alex smiled wide at the girl again.

“You really cute.” Lilly spoke shyly and giggled to which Alex laughed too. “Why thank you, so are you.” Alex said back and Lilly blushed in the cutest way possible. I co
