Chapter VII

I stayed the night checking upon Mommy here in the hospital. Although we often fight, she's still my mother. Mothers are incomparable. I love my Mommy and I would never trade her for anything in this world.

Dwight wanted to stay here with me but I told him not to. He messaged me a while ago that he'd visit tomorrow.

I angrily rose to my feet when I saw my father walking towards me. He still had the guts despite of what he did. I was pretty sure that it was his fault.

"Why are you here, Dad? Don't tell me you're happy seeing Mommy's condition."  I was taken aback when he slapped me. My cheeks stinged. I remained neutral. "Now you're hurting me..."
