No Memory

Amelia continued to stare at Albert as he seemed to come out of whatever daze he had been in from her prying on his memories.

"What the fuck did you just do?" he growled, attempting to lash out. "Who saved who?"

"You," Amelia responded, still trying to make sense of what she saw. "When we were kids, but why don’t either of us remember?"

Frowning, Amelia tried her hardest to recall the memory she saw, but even she couldn’t find that she had it.

"You shouldn’t waste your breath on him," Victoria huffed, deciding to break the silence that was beginning to fall around them. "It’s clear that he didn’t care enough to remember it, so you shouldn’t care too much either."
