Donovan curses, stands up before sitting back down. His face is a shade darker and the violence swirling in his eyes has me raising my brows.
“She won’t come here, she isn’t stupid enough to do that.” I tell him, hoping I sound more confident that I think I do.
“Very comforting,” sarcasm drips from his tone. I have nothing better to say so I just keep quiet. “You know we can’t let her get into the pack right?”
