Chapter R22

“You Vampires give me a lot of stress,” Was the first thing I heard, that voice was overly familiar, Lilith.

“Martha!” Stephen chirped as he gripped my left palm tightly and then my eyes faintly awoke to the ceilings of my room. I turned to my left and there they were. Stephen was seated beside me with eyes full of emotions while Lilith and Peter stood beside him smiling. At least I didn’t die.

He kissed my palm and I felt a wave of spark soothe my insides.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” He queried and I frowned. “That you’re pregnant.” He beamed and I gasped, staring at all three confirming the news at once with a nod.

“Congratulations Martha, you’re going to be a mother.” Lilith toned sweetly and tears started to flood my eyes.

“When we arrived, I thought you let the poison get to you but instead, I found out you’re three weeks gone.”
