Who's gonna save her from this sick guy?

Roonie had his bath already, so he only got dressed when he arrived back in the room.

He topped his denim and black shirt with the hockey team jacket, then he stepped out of the room, only to meet the girls by the door.

Rebekah, Morgan, Lizzy and Teal.

"Where is Pearl?" Rebekah frowned.

"She decided to stay in today" Roonie replied simply.

"Are you serious right now?" Morgan blinked.

"Have fun alone, she'd be fine" Roonie replied and made to leave, but Rebekah blocked him.

"What are you up to? Where did you keep her?" She asked.

"Staying indoors is the best option I could come up with, unless you want her to get hurt, badly" he glared, looking at Lizzy.

Lizzy blinked and came forward.

"I think...I think I know what's going on. Pearl will be fine," she said.

"Lizzy!" Morgan grabbed her.

"I'm serious" Lizzy replied, and Roonie left after locking the door.

Teal couldn't add anything, she could only stare at his backside as he walked down the hall.

"Lizzy I won't forgive you if anything happens to Pearl" Rebekah voiced.

"Maybe it's The Titans again, who knows? Last time it was me, what if their target is Pearl this time" Lizzy replied.

"Makes sense, but if that's the case then why is he protecting her?" Morgan frowned.

"Banks and Pearl...are they close a lot?" Teal finally talked.

"Nope, Pearl hates him" Rebekah replied, and Teal smiled.

"Maybe he's really protecting her, Banks is nice" she said, and Jeremy came rushing down to them.

"Where's Pearl? I need to talk to her" he said breathlessly.

"Since when did you and Pearl start talking to each other" Morgan rolled eyes.

"He saved her from the freezer remember?" Lizzy said.

"Even though" Morgan sighed.

"It's dangerous I really need to see her right now, like now!" Jeremy said urgently.

"She's in a lockdown for all today" Teal replied, and the girls left him.

Jeremy inhaled in relief immediately.

The plan won't materialize if she doesn't come out.

He was smiling as he left the hall.

Roonie arrived at his friends room and found them ready too.

Axel is mixing his coffee with tequila while Hyce is eating another apple from the bag.

"Where do you wanna get buried at?" Roonie deadpanned, staring at the apple.

"Kill me and give my body to Isaac" Hyce replied with a silly laughter.

Roonie snatched the half-eaten apple from him and gave him a punch on the nose.

Hyce fell from the bed to the ground, his nose bleeding.

"Wanker, I ate two apples and now you're after my life?" He said, wiping his bleeding nose.

"You ate two?" Roonie smirked.

"Yeah, he ate one last night too" Axel talked, sipping from his diluted coffee.

Axel almost smashed Hyce's face again, but Hyce jumped to the other side of the bed with a grin.

"I'll keep that for another day, bîtch" Roonie scoffed, taking an apple.

He threw his weight on a couch and got a note out of his pocket.

He found it beside Pearl's pillow last night... The note she was given in the freezer.

STAY OUT OF ROONIE'S LIFE.

He took a big bite from the apple as he read it over and over again, trying to decipher the owner of the handwriting.

"What's this?" Axel took the note from him.

"Never seen this handwriting before" Hyce said, checking it out too.

"It belongs to the culprit, yeah?" Axel asked.

Roonie remained silent, rolling the apple on his palm.

"So... whoever it is...he's doing this because he wants her out of your life? Weird" Hyce said.

"He? It's a female, only females use lines like this. A female who's madly obsessed with you. You can feel the obsession from the note" Axel said.

"Maybe he used female lines intentionally. I believe it's a guy cos almost every lady in the campus is obsessed with Banks" Hyce replied.

They both shifted their gazes to Roonie who has been silent.

"Any thoughts?" Axel asked.

"I saw the handwriting somewhere before, trying to recall " he muttered standing up and taking back the note.

"Rook obviously has plans today. Are you gonna follow Pearl around again? There might be mistakes" Hyce said.

"She's staying in throughout " Roonie replied, walking out.

"Nasty" Hyce smiled, showing off his chin dimple.

"I can imagine her chained up, it's Banks after all" Axel chuckled before downing the remaining diluted coffee in his cup.

He left the room with Hyce.
