(Asher’s POV)
“Oh hey there, little girl.” I crouched down in front of her, still stretching my clasped hand a bit to my front to let her held my hand and to make sure I didn’t hurt her while I sit. I mean, I am 6’1 and she’s a cutesy pie- I mean about 3 to 4 feet tall, so I don’t want to cause any damage or scare her either way.
“Hello.” Her tiny and cute voice greeted me back. She then let my hand go and began to fidget shyly while fumbling the end of her small hospital robe.
I smiled. “What are you doing here, sweetheart?”
She giggled, probably happy that I called her that way. I too am happy to see her smile.
