Genevieve's point of view

Enzo has been gone for three days. He's been calling Cora and asking about my welfare, but he never asks to speak with me.

Like right now—he's talking to Cora on the phone, but he didn't ask to speak with me. I don't know why, but I'm missing him.

"...I'll pass on the message," Cora said and hung up.

I rolled my eyes when Cora said that, because I already knew what she was going to say.

She approached me with a smile.

"Mr. Enzo said you shouldn't forget to eat and sleep on time."

"When is he coming back?" I asked.

"He didn't say. He only asked me to remind you to eat and sleep on time."

I scoffed. "Sure!"

She chuckled at my response. "Are you missing him?"

"No," I answered quickly, obviously lying.

"I'm only a maid here, and I don't want to overstep my boundaries, but I think you and Mr. Enzo should sit down and talk. You're both being childish with the way you're handling this," she said.

I shook my head. "I'm not the childish one here—your boss is. Why did
