Pushed Off

Sylvia roamed around the campus and explored each corner of the larger building. In the beginning, she only thought of skipping the first class, but engrossed in having a tour of the entire campus, she decided to not go back.

Sylvia made up her mind on getting expelled from here and, no matter what, would see through it. If it weren’t her classmates, Blake wouldn’t surely let her live peacefully, especially after how she insulted him earlier.

However, standing on his empty hallway, Sylvia was surrounded by silence, and the lighting was dim as well. This part of the building didn’t appear to be as well maintained as the rest, and she had to admit that it was indeed bone-chilling.

She shuddered.

That’s when, the cries resounded through the building, and the suddenness of them made Sylvia jump in her position. She patted the rapidly beating heart inside her chest and stated, “Sylvia, calm down.”
