The drive back to university was twisting my nerves. No more exchanges between us and the tension were palpable in the air. Albeit my head was lost and there was a stinging pang in my chest I still carried my pretence of being engrossed in my phone. Trust me it was very hard to carry out the stupid charade with Damon to have his gaze wander over me now and then.

"Ria?" I heard him whisper my name with uncertainty. Instead of looking at him I looked out the window and found myself staring at the majestic parking of my university. Choosing not to answer him I gripped my black backpack and unlocked his car to get down.

Spinning on my legs I rushed towards my car to get away from there. My troubled heart was aching when I heard him confess my existence in his life. It was harsh and accusing. Thoughts like I should quit my project and hide away from his shadow crept into my head but before I could come up with a conclusion I was dragged into sturdy arms. My eyes widened
