NOOO, Hilda can't be the one to die here. She's so young, she still has a long life ahead to experience a lot of positive things. And she's the only consistently loving adult in Ava's life the past few years; Ava loves & needs her. I was looking forward to Hilda finally having joy & peace.

This was so unfair to Hilda .. The people who should be doing the sacrifice for Ava should either be Damon if not Evelyn as being her parents as they owed her that much , Catherine who was anyway dying soon and even Susan who was just as good as dead to redeem her sins.
