Chapter 65
Before leaving from there Wyatt looked at the dark house with a little bit of concern. He took out the phone from his pocket and started to type a message to Nora.
‘I am going out of the station on some work. I will be back in two days. Do not think too much about what happened today…’ He wrote and then erased the last part.
Instead, he typed, ‘I love you…’ and clicked, ‘send’.
He looked at her bedroom window once and then he drove away from her home. Nora heard her phone ring but did not come out of the blanket to check the message.
She had been so embarrassed that she thought she could never go out anymore and neither could she see eye to eye with anyone.
