Chapter Sixteen

"I can't bear leaving the kids in your care right now while seeing you act like this. I know I don't have the right to take the children away from you and bring them with me, but I'm begging you... just for the sake of the twins and the promise I made to Gail that I would take care of them, please have mercy and allow me to take them with me." I utter while kneeling on the floor.

I can't afford to leave the twins in his care. How can I sleep peacefully knowing he'll neglect the twins and go to his woman? How can I think clearly when I know that every time I think of them, I imagine them seeing things that are inappropriate for their age?

I don't want Thor and Loki to grow up seeing their Father do bad things in front of them. I don't want them to grow up resentful of their Father. I'm afraid the twins will grow up seeing their father do bad things and assuming it's right, so they will do the same in the future.

"Please, they need me."
