"How the hell is that possible? My wolf hasn't come out for more than a year. Then how is it possible that Oliver saw her last night?'
'Maira?' I called for my wolf but nothing. I lost her a long time ago. I meant it was not that I was not a werewolf now, or I didn't have my wolf. It was just that my wolf hated me with passion.
Why?
Because I have been controlling her since last year, I didn't let her come out. I didn't let her meet her mate, that jerk. And on top of this, I kept having wolfsbane to keep her in a deep sleep. I knew I was not behaving right with her, but at the same time, I couldn't let her become my weakness.
