Five Years.

Five Years Later.

"Mama, please! I don't want to go to school!" pleaded a young boy of around five years old, his wavy, short brown hair bouncing as he darted around the spacious sitting room.

Seeking refuge, he scurried behind the dining chairs, attempting to evade his determined mother.

"Alexis, come back here! It's time for your bath, and you have exams today," called out a young woman with a similar shade of brown hair, neatly tied up in a bun.

She wore a simple, flowing dress, but her face showed signs of exhaustion. She had been chasing after the mischievous little rascal for several minutes now, but he adamantly refused to comply, insisting that he didn't want to go to school!

"I don't want to! I hate my teacher! She always pulls my ear and calls me a naughty boy, even when I haven't done anything wrong!" he exclaimed in a frustrated, childlike tone, as he came out from his hiding spot only to swiftly move to another, repeating the pattern.
