Kai wakes after a few hours and encourages Ash to get some more sleep, Kai watches her for the rest of the night, and sees no more movement from her. The morning comes and Serena knocks at the door frame. He lifts his head to see her and nods. He nudges Ash awake, he starts and stares at Eliza for a moment before noticing Serena.

“Hey guys. I wanted to check in on her. It seems like we’re staying put for now. Noemi knows where the Guild House is, and Charlie has everyone on alert for intruders and such. Merlin’s going to take me back in a bit so I can grab some supplies for her, now I know what I might need to better help her. Is there anything you two need?” Ash shakes his head, Kai looks at her,

“We’re good for now, but in a few days, we will need to feed.” She nods,

“I’ll ask your guys to give me a couple of bags each, just in case.” He nods, and looks back at Eliza, Ash is studying her face,
