Chapter 12

As Emma was resting the next day, someone knocked on her door. She sat up as she called in, "Come in."

Dr. Shepherd walked in with a bouquet of flowers in his hand and a balloon. He looked funny as Emma giggled lightly looking him approaching her.

Dr. Shepherd smiled in nervousment as he congratulated her and than held up the baby to see..

"He looks adorable Emma...." He told him as he cradled him in his arms..

"Thank you..." Emma said softly.

Dr. Shepherd put the baby back into the crib as he took a deep look at her... "Are you still sure about your decision?"

Dr. Shepherd asked with seriousness.

Emma nodded her head in response, Dr. Shepherd sighed as he mentioned.. "That clinic had just lost one of their best nurse they could ever have..."

Some days before he had offered Emma to come back to the old clinic as patients their still asked for her as well as the nurses but Emma completely refused and she had also forbidden Dr. Shepherd to tell
