"It's been a while."

Damon stood in front of her with a gentle smile on his face.

Seeing him, Leah did not panic and instead passed him a smile too.

"Yes, how are you? How is Aunt doing?" Leah asked and he chuckled. "Will you not let me in?" He asked and she quickly got away from him to enter. Her eyes flickered downstairs on the guards. He stepped inside and walked in without taking his shoes off.

Leah watched him go inside the living room with a constant smile on her face.

She silently followed him behind in the living room.

"Would you like to have a drink?" She asked politely and he shook his head. "I'm not here to drink, please sit down." He said and she nodded before sitting down beside him. Two arms distance between them.

"That scary-looking man down there. Who are those men?" He asked and Leah chuckled. "Those people work under me...my lover. Ever since the fire incident, he has been extraordinary and worried about me. So he hired them for me." She said and he slightly frowne
