He slammed her back against the closed door making her grit her teeth as she glared at him. “Camellia,” his voice was dripping with controlled fury yet that endearment rolled off his tongue in a raspy growl. “I don’t like other men touching you,” he grumbled, grabbing her jaw, his fingers firmly pressing into her cheeks as he made her hazel eyes look into his dark greys. “I’m not yours,” she said with gathered-up bravado though his intimidating presence made her feel so timid. He leaned closer as her eyes fell on the camellia flower that was inked on his neck. His hot breath tickled her lips as his intense stare lingered on her lips. “You’re mine, Camellia. Mine!” With a low growl, he crashed his lips on hers. DARK ROMANCE!

Prologue

Running in the rain as fast as she can to reach her house. Her lips trembled as his threatening words rang in her mind. The water splashed up as she ran through the puddle of water caused by rain. Her breath was heavy and her heartbeat was ringing in her ears like an alarm.
Before she knew it, she sprained her ankle and fell on the wet footpath, her knee and palms got badly scratched but she paid no attention to her mere bruises, all she knew was to reach home. She slowly stood up and started to run even faster, ignoring the painful throbbing in her ankle.

On reaching her home she saw the door half opened. Her heart came in her throat as tears blurred her sight. She shook her head and ran inside her house. "Mom...Dad...Mateo...I'm home." She yelled at the top of her lungs as tears streamed down her eyes. She heard no response from her mother, father, or her younger brother. Her legs started to tremble as she slowly made her way inside the living room.
On reaching the living room, she paused on her steps.
"Ah....a-Ahhh....n-no...ahhh...AHHHHHHH." She screamed at the top of her lungs when she saw her family lying down on the floor, bathed in their blood. Her father was on the floor with his eyes closed, her mother on top of her father with her eyes closed, and her little brother on top of her mother with his eyes open. His lifeless eyes stared right at her sister as if blaming her....was she to blame?
"No...No...No..." She shook her head aggressively as tears streamed down her cheeks like the rainfall outside. In a second...she lost everything. The living room which was filled with their giggles was now occupied by their blood and lifeless body.
She fell on the floor and hid her face in her arms as she shook her head. Her sobs get louder and louder with each passing second. "NOOOOO..NOOO....AHHHHH." She screamed and started to bang her fist on the floor as hard as she could.
"No....WHY? WHYYYYY?" She continued to scream and sob. Her heart couldn't take it...she couldn't take it. Why is she still alive? Why is she not dead too? Her breath got stuck midway when she felt something pressing on her head. She knew it was a gun. The gun was now replaced by his hand as he patted her wet hair.
"Now....I'm your only family...my Camellia."
