12. Not getting out dry

Not even 24 hours had passed before I was drunk again. Had I managed to get over my hangover before Clarissa and Ethan gave me that first glass of wine? Nope. I should do something about myself or I will turn into some drunken skank. It was just that they both looked so happy together, like they were waiting to get in each other's hands all those years and finally they became one. And where was I in my life? Nowhere... alone. I used to be such a nerd, how did I become this... this party girl!? I was well-educated, and I was working at a grocery store. That was crazy! I needed to get my shit together and change my life. I had enough time to get past that bad blood between me and my ex-boyfriend.

I needed to start changing my ways... starting right now! I texted Michael the address and moved the blanket I had on so it would cover my legs too. My bathing suit was dry for at least two hours, but I did not care to go inside and change into something warmer.
