11. Hit the right spot

Michael

It was a slow day at my shop. No one entered for the last hour and in a way it was better like that. I was lost in my thoughts of the hottest girl I had ever met. Weekends were not busy, but this one would sure as hell be very boring. Partly because the weather was too hot and heavy for anyone to be outside and partly - Alex was away from me. Last night felt both great that she was so close and bad that I could not even touch her.

I looked at the time on my phone and it was past 19 PM. How was it still so damn hot? I had air conditioner on, but I could see the road melting under the sun. The heat made it shift somehow like it was a mirage. It was too quiet. No cars, no people... only my loud thoughts, reminding me of how lonely I was.

If it wasn't the mistake to fall in that damn trap, I could have been happy. Or maybe I wouldn't be here at all. I still couldn't believe how I let myself be played so hard. I was a fool! Naive idiot!
