ADRIANNE

"Good job Pink, You did a great job".

Drinking seems to be his scape from the chaos. From everything the world has thrown at him. Drinking seems like his medicine from his pain that no one knows about.

"You have to rest until your wound heal. We have a lead now where agent blue is but we need to execute our plan well to get her in that Island. Secluded ang area kaya kailangan nating mag ingat at makuha si Blue ng buhay" his strong deep baritone voice sounds too cold and emotionless.

I felt a pang of pain upon hearing what he just said. Blue means a lot to me. She's like a sister to me. Aside from guarding Amber this past months ay lihim din akong gumagalaw sa paghahanap kay Agent Blue. I just couldn't think of her being dead. She couldn't be dead. I could see his jaw clenching while his stoic and emotionless face facing the glass wall, watching the traffic outside of his huge building.

He held the glass too tight. Like it could slip through his hand if he couldn't held it that tight. His other hand was inside his pants pocket. But despite the clothe covering it , I could still see it's clenching. Uno isn't the type of a man who shows affection towards his people but he cares a lot. He cares like we are from his blood and flesh. He doesn't have to tell or say through words because we can feel it through his actions. He doesn't want, he hates any of us getting hurt.

"I'll go a head then Uno. Please call me once you've finalize everything we need to get Blue. I need to be there. I have to be there for Blue" I said and left without even waiting for his response.

I rode Ash to this newly opened bar 20 minutes drive from my condo. Loud music and a sea of drunken women greeted me. I settled myself at the bar counter. Scanning the chaos from the croud. Smokes and liqours assaulted my nostrils. There are some kissing in every corner, making out like wild horny animals which reminds me why I hate going in a clubs.

"Tsk" I hissed. Nakakairita sa totoo lang. They could have atleast get a room for fuck sake. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the sight. I have just arrived but I couldn't help but to get annoyed with these irritating scene my sight just caught.

"whiskey please" I ordered which I got an immediate response from the bartender. I roamed my eyes once again and let out a heavy sigh. I wish Blue were here with me just like the old times. I am missing her company really big time. She's been missing for almost a year now but here I am doing nothing. I feel useless as fuck. I couldn't find her no matter what I did. I've been doing my very best to find and locate her but I seem like I am looking for a needle in a spacious field. Which is too hard to find.

"Another drink ma'am?" the bartender asked. I nodded immediately without even telling the drink I wanted. She seems to know which drink to give because she handed me the same drink with the one I got just a while ago.

I scan the croud again.

"Welcome to Evas Drink ma'am. Eva's Drink was built for gays who wanted to have drinks without dickheads taking advantage once they got wasted." she said smiling while her amber orbs busy scanning the crowd.

May gay bar doon na siyang madalas naming puntahan when we got this mission about human trafficking. Pink was the one who brought us in that bar. We got wasted and I ended up being bedded with a beautiful woman na hanggang ngayon kinukulit parin ako. She kept sending me messages which I never responded to.

I don't remember everything when I woke up the next morning. Like I got amnesia and didn't remember every single one that happened that night na hanggang ngayon pinagsisisihan ko pa rin. I felt like I cheated Asher even though I am not in a relationship with her.

I loved Asher so much that I never see myself being touched by someone else. I know that she will never love me the same way as I love her. She will never see me the way I see her and I already accepted that a long time ago.

I shook my head and shrugged her image off my head. She's invading my thoughts again. She poured another drink and handed it to me with a nod. I took it and drank it immediately. Now my head starts to spin. Great! I have reached my limit again I guess. Ang hina talaga ng alcohol tolerance ko.

"Hey need some company, gorgeous?" a melodic voice interrupted me from my thoughts. I side eye her. She is wearing a red bodycon dress that compliments her curves. Her hair was tied in a messy bun, showing her milky and flawless nape. She's not wearing any makeup but a red seductive tint on her heart shaped lips.

I could tell that she's goddamn pretty but still nothing compared to my Asher. I swallowed and didn't dare throw her a single glance. I focused my eyes at the empty glass in my hand. In my pheripheral vision I saw her tilted her head while staring at me seductively. She's staring at me like I was her delicious food on the table. Ignoring her presence I again asked the bartender for another drink which she gave it to me immediately.

"Hey you are being rude. I am just wondering why is a beautiful woman drinking alone here? You might need some company, you know" she reached for my arm and caresses it softly. My brow arched at the sudden contact. I really hate being touched by strangers. Slowly, I turned my head towards her with my brows furrowed. She was grinning. I looked down at her hand touching my arm and dodge it. Removing it away from my skin. She bit her lower lip seductively while her beautiful blue orbs nailed on my face intently which irritates me even more.

"And it's also rude touching someone's arm without consent. And your company is disgusting the hell of me, so better leave me alone woman before I make you" I irritatedly said which she just laughed it off and moved even closer to me. Not minding how annoyed I am already. I gritted my teeth in full annoyance.

"Hmmmm Fiesty. Make me then gorgeous" she whispered in my ear that sends shivers down my spine. I swallowed and tried to compose myself. Damn it. She's giving me goosebumps. I am not used to being this close to anyone. Her lips touch my earlobe and I shiver at the contact. It's awakening the heat in my body. I swallowed.

"You are playing with a fire woman. Better stop it now and leave me fuck alone". I stood up and threw her dagger through my gaze. She smirked and bit her lower lip. I bald my fist. My jaw clenched. I pressed my lips tightly. She tilted her head, never leaving my burning gaze.

She crossed her arms na para bang sinadya niyang gawin iyon dahil sa pag angat ng kanyang hinaharap. My brow arched. Her cleavage is now waving in my sight. For a second my eyes burned at the sight. I am not a saint not to feel anything for such seduction. I don't know but every time I get into such situation Asher will always pop up from my mind like pulling me back into my senses bago pa ako makagawa ng pagsisisihan ko sa huli. Like she's my savior everytime.

"Is everything alright here?" another beautiful voice echoed from nowhere. Gusto ko lang naman uminom ng matiwasay pero heto at may kung sinomang gumagambala sa matiwasay kong me time. Kainis. I shifted my gaze to the woman who is now standing right next to me. She's wearing an office suit na para bang kagagaling lamang sa opisina at dito na dumiretso.

She looks like a strict CEO na nagambala sa kanyang pagbabasa ng dokumento. Her eyes screams power and dominance. Bagay sa kanya ang puting slacks and white suit with black long sleeves polo underneath. Her eyes scanned the woman sitting just inches away from me. Like she's sending her warning for interrupting me from my metime. She's holding a glass in her right hand. Gripping it tightly. My breath hitched when I realized who she is.

"Are you okay Adrienne?" she asked me with concerns evident in her eyes. I swallowed and heaved a deep sigh. I looked down at the woman who is still grinning while scanning my body from head to toe. She bit her lower lip when eyes landed onto my breast.

"I found her first. You go away and find yours Miss intruder" the woman exclaimed that made my brow raised. What the hell is she talking about? What am I?a toy....Damn this flirt. The audacity. I crossed my arms and glared at this woman na kanina pa sinasaid ang inis ko sa katawan.

"Shut up woman. I am not even talking to you." Amber fought back. My eyes flew towards her. She's killing the woman in front of us through her blazing eyes. Nagtataka ako sa pinapakita niyang emosyon.

What is she doing here? Parang kahapon lang noong nagising ako sa condo niya and now she's here again. Is this a coincidence again after yesterday? She seems like protecting me which confuses me even more. I suddenly feel like my world is spinning nonstop. Amber was fast enough to hold me still. Inalalayan niya akong maupo muli habang hawak hawak nito ang bewang at braso ko.

"A bottle of water please Simoune" Amber says. Naramdaman ko ang paglapit ng bartender. I opened my eyes and Amber is now holding a bottle of water. She handed it to me nang matanggal nito ang lid. I drank almost all of it. I couldn't react. Well, I don't know how to react kasi nagulat talaga ako sa biglaan niyang paglitaw.

"I'll take you home. I don't think you can drive in your state now." she said full of authority. Like she's not giving me time to decline. I closed my eyes tightly.

"I can handle myself Amber. You don't need to babysit me whenever I get drunk" I refused not meeting her gaze. She cleared her throat. When I opened my eyes her deep brown eyes met mine. I couldn't see anything in her orbs aside from deep concerns which caught me off guard. Yeah right, she knew my existence in her girlfriend's life. She knew I was Asher's bestfriend.

"I know you can...when you are sober but you are clearly not right at this moment so whether you like it or not you are coming with me. End of discussion" she authoritatively said. She settled me in the passenger seat.

Nakapikit lamang ako the whole ride. I didn't even bother asking her where she is taking me because of the exhaustion I am feeling right now.

"Fuck this headache" I groaned in pain. I opened my eyes and scan the room. Damn it. Nasaan na naman ako. I am not familiar with this room. Shit. My chest beats nervously. Slowly, I lifted the comforter covering my body.

I peeked at my body and my heart slowly beat back at its normal beating. My breath hitched and my eyes widened at the person who's now walking slowly towards the bed where I am settled and completely stunned.

My sight seemed so clear at her moving frame slowly towards me but the surrounding was a complete blur. Her frame stood out in my sight. My heart is beating frantically, thumping, hammering really hard inside my ribcage. My hand shook. Cold runs through my veins. Shit.

"You are awake." she said staring at me coldly. No emotions in her eyes. I shiver at her coldness. I couldn't react to how her cold eyes meet my orbs. I am not ready for this treatment from her. I mean I should be expecting this since it has been 5 years mula nang eighteen birthday niya na huling pag uusap namin. She must be mad at me or worst loathed me for leaving her hanging twice without even reaching out for a year.

"Fix yourself. You have a lot of explaining to do" she said emotionless. Her looks was passive. So cold, colder than the aircondition in the room. I swallowed the sudden lump on my throat. She turned her back on me, leaving me stunned completely inside this spacious room I am not familiar with.

"ASHER" finally I was able to utter her beautiful name.. Fuck! Am I hallucinating? She's really here right? Iana Skyleigh Asher Yu is here. The woman I am yearning to see and touch is here now.

My Asher. My Moon.

  • Hidden Affection   Chapter 40

IANA SKYLEIGH ASHER "“Good morning, sleepyhead.” A soft, protesting groan escaped my lips. I reached for the pillow wedged between my thighs and pulled it over my face, hoping to shut out whoever had the audacity to disturb my precious sleep. Unfortunately, a quiet giggle from an unfamiliar voice stopped me in my tracks. “She doesn’t want to be disturbed, Ate. Just look at her eyebrows!” the woman exclaimed, amusement lacing her voice. “They’re practically touching. Give her a few more seconds, and they might become one straight line.” I stirred before slowly peeling my eyes open. Adrienne’s beautiful face greeted me the moment I lowered my pillow. Her lips were curved into a soft, bright smile, and her hair fell loosely around her shoulders, making her look effortlessly gorgeous even this early in the morning. But she wasn’t alone. Another woman stood behind her, watching me with a curious glint in her eyes. She had the brightest smile I had ever seen, as though the mere si

  • Hidden Affection   Chapter 39

IANA SKYLEIGH ASHER “Fuck, hindi… hindi…hindi., Blue.” Adrienne slammed the car door. Tears streaming down her face as she stares at the burning vehicle far below the cliff. The same vehicle belonging to the people who had taken Caitlin. I followed her out, my own breath catching as I looked down at the wreckage. The flames swallowed the darkness below. I covered my mouth. Beside me, Adrienne stood completely still, her hand clenched so tightly that her knuckles had turned white. I reached for it and held on, desperate to give her something, anything to keep her anchored. But for the first time, I saw her completely broken. Adrienne was crying. Not quietly. Not the kind of tears she could wipe away and pretend never happened. She was devastated. “bababa ako, hahanapin ko siya. She can’t be dead. This can’t be happening.” her jaw tightened. Before I could stop her, she pulled her arm away from me and stepped closer to the edge. My stomach dropped at the sight of her. “What ar

  • Hidden Affection   Chapter 38

IANA SKYLEIGH ASHER Life is full of things we never expect. Things that never once cross our minds as possibilities, until suddenly, they become our reality. When I saw Amber suffering, when I watched her drowning in pain, I promised myself that I would pull her out of it. I did everything I could to help her forget Caitlin, the woman I believed would never come back. And back then, I was certain I loved Amber. I chose her. I chose to stay beside her when she was hurting. I chose to become the person who would make her smile again. I chose to love her because I believed that if I could ease her pain, then maybe the ache inside me would disappear too. Every time I saw Amber cry, every time she locked herself away in her sadness, I felt her pain as though it were my own. Seeing her broken made something inside me break, too. So I convinced myself that was love. Maybe it was. But love, no matter how real it once felt, does not always mean it is meant to last. I thought I understood

  • Hidden Affection   Chapter 37

IANA SKYLEIGH ASHER I remained silent for the entire drive to Amber’s office. The only thing breaking the silence inside the car was Yellow, who kept asking questions from time to time. Adrienne answered each one with nothing more than brief, restrained replies. I kept my eyes fixed on the window, watching people pass by and the chaotic streets of the city blur into one another. The car moved in stops and starts, trapped in the heavy afternoon traffic. It was rush hour, the time when students and employees were all making their way home. I never looked in Adrienne’s direction. But I could feel her. Every now and then, I caught the faint weight of her gaze on me, even without turning my head. I wondered why I couldn't see any sweetness between her and Yellow. They didn't have to hold back because of me. They didn't have to hide anything. And yet, a selfish part of me was grateful that they weren't being openly affectionate in front of me. Because even seeing them exchange smile

  • Hidden Affection   Chapter 36

IANA SKYLEIGH ASHER Two weeks had passed since what happened at the hospital. Since she returned. And for those same two weeks, I had been avoiding her. I was afraid that the wall I had been desperately trying to build around my heart would come crumbling down the moment I stood before her. I had spent convincing myself that distance was the only way to keep from falling apart, and yet every passing day without her seemed to weaken the very foundation I was trying to protect. I didn’t want to be the reason she and Yellow fell apart. I rested my head against my pillow and stared at the ceiling. I had been awake for hours, but I couldn’t bring myself to get up and go to work. My body felt heavy, as though even the simplest movement required more strength than I had left to give. For two weeks, she had tried talking to me over and over again. And for two weeks, I had chosen not to face her. Not because I didn’t want to hear her voice. God knew how desperately I wanted to. But I was t

  • Hidden Affection   Chapter 35

IANA SKYLEIGH ASHER YU One month had passed since Adie left the country. At first, I was angry. I thought she had done it again, walked away without a word, leaving me behind as though I were nothing more than a passing thought in her life. I had been hurt, furious even, because for a moment I believed that after everything that had happened between us, she had still chosen to disappear without giving me a single explanation. But that anger vanished the moment I learned the truth. She hadn't left willingly. She had been taken. And once again, I was afraid. I asked Tito Mark to investigate everything. I wanted to know who had taken her, why she had been forced out of the country, and where she had been brought. Tito Mark was Momma's right-hand man at the agency, and if anyone could dig deep enough to uncover the truth, it was him. Eventually, he found something. According to him, it was Adie's own grandfather who had been behind her abduction and the forced departure from the Ph
