Chapter 1-Ugly Duckling!

"Kill her!"

"No,  no please, Alex. You have to listen to me. I.. "

"Kill her! " Alex yelled angrily and left the dungeon with a blank expression on his face. 

"Alex, please I'm sorry. Please! " The young girl cried, tears falling from her eyes but that didn't make Alex stop. He kept walking away from the dungeon still her voice became distant. 

"You shouldn't have betrayed him,  you know. " Alex left hand man stated, glaring at the girl who looked lifeless yet still beautiful. There was a time he believed that his boss loved her a lot for her beauty and he was right after all. Even though his boss kept her by his side for this long, she shouldn't have thought of betraying him. 

"Please,  Xavier.  I know he'll listen to you! " Becca uttered hopefully.  Even though deep down she knows that he won't listen to her.  She knows he won't spare anyone that betrays him but she was only trying to help him.  She wasn't intending to hurt him. She loved him even though he has always acted cold towards her.  He's he really that heartless that he'll kill her for a single mistake? 

"We both know that once Alex makes up his mind, he won't change his decision."

He was right. What was she thinking, that he'll forgive her because they were once in as relationship? He didn't spare his parents,  so why would he spare a stranger like her? 

"I hope that in your afterlife, you won't make the same mistake you did in this life,  Becca." Xavier said,  staring into her lifeless eyes as he pulled the trigger. 

Becca fell down, with a smile on her face. Surprisingly, she didn't hold any grudges against him even after all he did to her. She only hopes, hopes that he'll find true love and unlike her he won't make the same mistake she did. 

Xavier pulled the trigger once again and Becca slowly drifted off to sleep with only one thing in her mind as she closed her eyes. 

"I love you Alex! "

Five years later,

"The bed's getting cold and you are not here

"Still don't get the reason you love that song a lot, Cassie. "

"The song holds a lot of hidden meanings Jackie and that's what makes the song soooo special." Cassie stated as she cleaned the windows.

"or is it because the song is meant for Sir Alex?" Jackie asked with a playful smile on her face. 

"Jackie! "

"Just admit I'm right,  Cassie. If only Sir Alex would notice us most especially you Cassie. Since you have been head over heels in love with him for the past 5years now." Jackie said dreamily,  as she clasped both of her hands together. 

"You know what, that can never happen Jackie. There are millions of beautiful,  sexy,  outstanding, rich and gorgeous women out there so would he notice an ugly duckling like me. " Cassie stated with her eyes welled up with tears. Yes, she has had a huge crush on crush on him for the past 5years now,  good five years but he has never noticed her even though he has always walked passed her, he never for once turned to look back at her. Like really what was she thinking, that the great Alexander Salvatore would notice an ugly duckling like her?  A dream that can never come true. 

"You know that's not true Cassie, you are beautiful in and out. And am sure you know that Cassie. " Jackie stated firmly,  trying to convince her best friend.  She knows what Cassie had to go through ever since they were kids,  being criticized of her physique, the way she looked, everything she does was being criticized and questioned and it was freaking her out."

"Cassie,  you can.. "

"I have to go now Jackie.  The last thing I want is Madam Maggie deducting my pay. " Jackie said in a hurry,  changing the whole topic. 

"Should I wait back for you? "

"No,  we'll meet back at home.  I have a lot of things to do back here with Madam Maggie! " Cassie yelled back as she ran through the silent corridor. 

"Just a little more time Cassie and you''ll have everything you deserve and have ever wished for in this world of course,  everything. " Jackie muttered under her breath as her lips curled up into a smile.  She continued with her chores.  Singing one of Taylor songs. Taylor really loves singing break ups and love songs but most importantly she knows how to reach people's heart with her songs.

Jackie stopped singing and laughed at herself when she realised that she skipped a lot of lines in the song.  If she liked, no love Taylor Swift then Cassie is obsessed with Selena Gomez. "
