Chapter 8 - Teenage dreams

Archie POV

“Hey mate, how are you feeling?”, I asked walking into the room. Josh has been awake and feeling better for a couple of days now, he still has bruises, and he’s nowhere near free to go home, but I have been coming to the hospital every day.

Josh smiles as I walk in and throws me the remote from the tv. “I need Sky. There’s absolutely fuck all on tv”, he says, and I can’t help but chuckle, walking to the chair next to his bed and sitting on it.

I pass my fingers through the controller, and he looks at me, expecting me to make some magic and make something interesting appear on tv.

“So?” he asks, and I look at him. “Sorry mate, you’ll be able to go home soon”, I say, and he laughs.

“My parents are already going insane on how I can not live by myself, on how I need to move back home, mate, they are driving me insane, I’m gonna need your help keeping them away from me. They are insane”, he lets out in frustration.
