Chapter one hundred& fifty

Chris walked towards Selena's house with a spring in his step. He couldn't wait to see her again after the intense battle with Alpha Darell, Alpha Fred and Sargus. He knew that Selena would be worried about him, but he was ready to reassure her that he was okay.

As he approached her house, he saw Selena waiting for him on her porch. She ran towards him, her arms wide open.

"Chris, I'm so glad you're okay!" Selena exclaimed, hugging him tightly.

"I'm fine, Selena. I'm just glad it's all over," Chris replied, holding her close.

They stayed like that for a while, enjoying each other's embrace, before pulling away and heading inside.

As they sat down on the couch, Selena looked at Chris with concern in her eyes. "Are you sure you're okay, Chris? You looked so hurt after the battle," she said.

"I'm a little sore, but nothing that won't heal with time. I'm just glad I was able to protect you and everyone else," Chris replied, looking into her eyes.

Selena smiled, feeling grateful for Chris'
