Chapter thirty nine

Darell hung up the phone and stomped his hands angrily through his hair. With Marcelyn around, issues seemed to be growing for him, and now that she was in the news, he was unsure of how to address them. He grabbed his phone and checked the internet to see if the news had changed. And without a doubt, Marcelyn-related news was ranking in searches. And people have been searching the area for her.

Once they discovered Marcelyn and learned that she was a vampire, it was almost certain that the werewolves would be affected as well sooner or later, and people would start looking for them.

Marcelyn was yelled at by Darell, who said, "You see, that is what happens when you don't listen! Now this is all you bring your stubborn self and getting us all into trouble!". She began to realize how serious the situation must be when she noticed the rage in his eyes.

As Marcelyn sat across from Darell on the couch, she kept an eye on his facial expressions to see what would happen next. He picked up h
