Chapter Fourteen: Killian

I had just finished putting my sweats on and was looking at the cuts I had gotten during the fight in the mirror when my bedroom door flung open. Katya stomped into the room slamming the door behind her, she was pissed. Oh was she pissed. She didn’t slow down she walked straight up to me and smacked me across the face. I had been in so many fights growing up, but this hit stung me to my core.

“Are you dumb, or are you stupid?” She yelled.

“Neither,” I answered, trying to contain my anger.

“Well, that was a fine display of both of those things, Killian.”

“I helped you, why are you mad?”

“Because Killian, because you are an Alpha, did you for a minute think about what would happen to your pack if you died?”

“As a matter of fact, it hadn’t crossed my mind,” I say leaning against the wall. “Does it ever cross your mind, what would happen to the vampires in your building if you lost?”

“No, because I have measures in place, you dumbass.” She yelled.

“Well, I’ll get measures in place
