The group collected all their stuff and made their way back upstairs. After the Alpha and Luna were in their apartment the Beta and Gamma made sure their lieutenants were in place then went to get cleaned up. Once they got out of the tub and went to go get dressed. Sonya started getting nervous if she would have enough time to get everything done now. She got dressed in a t-shirt and shorts so she could go finish supper. She went back to making the sauce and then went back to the pasta and started rolling it out. When the guards did their shift change, the new guards coming in gave the day guards envelopes on their way out. The new guards made their way to the cell holding Matt and unlocked the door. “Sir?” Matt stared off into space not really looking at anything in particular. “It took you long enough.” Matt replied sharply. “I apologize sir. It took longer than we hoped to get everything in place. We have the car waiting for you. This way.” The guards motioned down a hallway to a back door. Once outside the door, Matt stopped and smelled the air before moving into the car. In a flash the car was gone with no trace. The night guards went back about their duty like nothing happened. The next morning, they were awoken by the alarm at about 6. They both got up and went into the bathroom to get ready. Jake couldn’t help but feel a sense of happiness in how comfortable everything was at that moment. He snaked his arms around Sonya’s waist and laid his chin on her shoulder staring at her in the mirror. “You’re beautiful! They drove in silence until Jake seen his Beta and Gamma flagging him down. He pulled onto a side road behind a big tree. “Baby we are going to go with Greg and Jim now okay.” Sonya nodded but didn’t speak. She was still crying and didn’t have any strength. Jake ran around to pick up Sonya and took her to the backseat of Greg’s car. Once she was secure, he went back to the vehicle they were just into get Matt’s phone. When morning came, Sonya was awakened to the sounds of whispers and pans clanging together in the kitchen area. She realized that she was still on the couch and Jake was still snuggled up to her. She wiggled out so she could go to the bathroom. When she came out, she realized it was Greg and Jim in the kitchen attempting to make breakfast. Sonya made her way to the kitchen to take over breakfast or at least help. “Need a hand.” Sonya whispered.
