Emma POV Emma couldn’t sleep. She kept having dreams of wolves attacking her pack and killing everyone, and she was helpless to stop it. All she could do was stand there, frozen, watching everyone in her pack die. The dreams were getting worse, more vivid, and changing. Now, in the middle of the wolves there was this one wolf that stood in the center of the rest. This wolf was solid red, the color of blood, its eyes were completely black. Unknown POV Glass shattered against the wall. He was losing his patience. “Sir, she has been spotted alone out of the territory's fence. What do you want us to do?” He froze, could it really be? Emma POV Emma could feel Logan trying to push through her mind block, but she kept him out. She blocked him through the bond as well. She couldn’t let him get through to her, she knew he was going to come after her, to try and find her, but she couldn’t let him. She had to do this alone, she didn’t know why, she just knew she had to. She could smell them around her, behind her. She could hear them following her. Emma POV She slammed the door as she stormed out of Logan’s office. She refused to hear any more of Logan’s lecturing. She was tired and all she wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed. She closed the bathroom door and turned on the water to as hot as she could stand it. Once the steam had clouded the bathroom, she climbed inside and let the water run over her body, the hot water relaxing her muscles. She sat down and pulled her knees to her chest, watching the water running off her go from red to clear as all the blood washed off. She didn’t know how long she sat there, but when the water turned cold, she finally stood up and turned off the water. She grabbed the towel and dried off before hanging it back up. Emma POV It was finally time for the next blue moon ceremony where she would ask the Moon Goddess to let Dylan be the Alpha of the Shadow Moon pack. So much had been planned for today, it was going to be just a big party. One that she really wasn’t in the mood for. Emma POV They stood under the moonlight, surrounded by their family, waiting for the blue moon to reach its highest peak. Once it did, she would make her plea to the Moon Goddess. It was more important now than ever for this to work. She needed the Moon Goddess to let Dylan have her Alpha. They were supposed to shift after they prayed, but now that she is pregnant, it wouldn’t be safe for her to shift. Logan POV He stood there, looking at the body of the prisoner, lying in a pool of his own blood. He didn’t understand why this wolf would take his own life. The guards told him that the guy had clawed his own throat out and by the time they had gotten into the cell, it was too late, he was already losing too much blood. “Alpha, what do you want us to do with the body?” one of the guards asked. “What for nightfall and take it in the woods and burn it.” Logan answered. “Yes Alpha.” the guard replied. “Make sure nobody sees you.
