Emma POV “His brother?” Logan asked. “Yes, his brother. Alessio has two brothers. Sebastian and Marco. Alessio is the oldest, then Sebastian, then Marco. Sebastian is his Beta. Emma POV She knew she should go back down to the party, she just couldn’t bring herself to. She didn’t want to have to plaster a fake smile on her face and pretend like everything was ok. She wanted to wallow in the pits of despair that consumed her. She spotted Alexis in the crowd and she felt her heart crack. Zara POV Zara sat in the upstairs office that Emma had claimed for her own. She was having a hard time believing the things Emma had told her. First, this Alessio guy was the one that had her parents killed, the one that has been after her ever since she was a kid. She had never known who it was behind the mercenaries, she just knew that there was someone that was funding them. They weren’t smart enough to know what they were chasing her for. Alessio POV They had been hiding, watching, for two days now. Waiting. “Sir, something isn’t right.” Sebastian said. “I know.” he said curtly. Alessio POV Alessio leaned against the car, his patience wearing thin. He was anxious to be on the road. Where the fuck are you? Alessio POV He woke to the sun shining through the windows. Rubbing the back of his hand over his eyes, wiping the sleep out of them, he sat up in the huge king-size bed. Emma was lying next to him, snoring softly. She still hadn’t woken up from the sedative, but it should be wearing off at any time. A low growl rumbled from his chest as he saw part of the mark on her neck, peeking out of the collar of her shirt. Soon it would be his mark on her neck instead. He swung his legs over the side of the bed and placed his bare feet on the cold wooden floor. He felt completely rested, he hadn’t slept this good in years.
