Emma POV Emma couldn’t believe how big Logan’s house was. She thought theirs was big, but wow, his was even bigger. Logan told her that his bedroom was on the second floor, well their bedroom now. That excited her. It was going to take some getting used to not having to be stuck living on one floor. Logan POV Logan was sitting in Elder Michael’s house, they had been discussing Emma. Michael had come across only one situation like this in his long life, where the younger twin had tried to shift before the older twin. The older being female and the younger being male, just like Emma and Dylan. Although in that situation, the female didn’t want to be alpha. She had met her mate and they wanted to explore the world, and they couldn’t do that if she was alpha. The same thing happened though, when the male tried to shift first, it started to killed his sister. But they didn’t have an audience and when the pain hit her, the brother stopped shifting to check on her. Once he stopped shifting, her pain stopped. Emma POV Emma was going stir crazy. She had only two more days before her appointment to go back to see the pack doctor. He would tell her then if she was allowed to be off of bedrest. She felt her strength coming back and she was able to walk longer and farther every day. Logan was always hovering over her, making sure she didn’t push herself too hard. Although today he had to leave the pack territory to go to another pack’s territory to deal with some pack business. His beta was on guard duty today. She liked Nathan, he was funny and sweet, but he was just as protective of her as Logan was. And she came to realize that it wasn’t just Logan and Nathan either, the whole household staff, and the guards as well. They have all become so super protective. Logan POV Logan was waiting outside the hospital room while the doctor examined Morgan. His beta was pacing back and forth in front of the door, growling the whole time. His phone chimed for the tenth time. Emma was worried about Morgan, she tried to come but he wouldn’t let her, which pissed her off. Morgan and Alexis had become fast friends with Emma. “Where is she?” He heard a voice screaming from down the hallway. He knew it was Alexis. Logan POV Logan was sitting in his office, Emma sitting in a chair beside him. Her parents and brother walk through the door. Emma jumped up and ran and gave them each a hug. “Oh, Emma, how are you doing?” her mother asked. “I am doing much better.” Emma told her. “Emma, hunny, I am so sorry. I didn’t know that Dylan trying to change before would hurt you, much less kill you.” her father said. “I know Dad, its ok. Logan POV It was late when Logan headed up to bed. He opened the door quietly in case Emma was sleeping. He didn’t want to wake her. He closed the door softly behind him. The television was still on, Emma was snoring. He had found her like this almost every night. He went to the bathroom and pulled of his clothes. He took a quick shower and grabbed the towel and dried off. He hung the towel up and walked into the bedroom, and all his glory just hanging out. Too bad doc said that those activities were still off limits for now. He grabbed a pair of shorts from the dresser and slipped them on. He went over to the bar and grabbed a glass and poured some whiskey into it. He took a drink as he walked over to the bed then sat the glass down on the bedside table. He pulled back the blankets and crawled in bed. Emma groaned and pressed herself closer to him. He put his arms around her and pulled her closer, he buried his face in her hair. He loved the way she smelled, the citrus and rain.

Logan POV Logan, Nathan, Lane, Adam, Marcus, and Paul all sat in Logan’s office. He called them all here so they could try to figure out what their next move was going to be. So far, they had nothing. “Look, just in case Nathan and Lane are right, and this is some kind of power play and they are going to try to take over our pack, we need to start training more guards. Alpha David and I have an alliance treaty. The treaty also states that any alliance he holds with any other pack, will also be an ally for us as well. He has alliance treaties with the Blood River pack, and the Red Moon pack. And our alliance with the Black Night pack still stands as well. The other three packs all remain neutral.
