Chapter Ten

“She’s not my mate.” Jacob growled as Kane pushed him to the office and slammed the door shut behind them.

His wolf whimpered in his head but he pushed him away.

Kane watched his brother and wondered why he was such a selfish fool. The girl was clearly scared and Jacob had frightened her. She knew nothing about the werewolf world. Her mother was half werewolf half human making Mia one of them also. She was also the future luna and needed to be respected at all costs.

Jacob needed time to process it all. Kane had done the right thing to pull his brother from the situation before it got even more complicated.

He decided that the best thing was to keep them apart for now, at least until Jacob had accepted his fate.

“You are drunk, brother.” Kane sighed demanding he go to sleep it off and they could talk more in the morning once his head was a lot clearer. Jacob was not listening. His mind was all over the place. That girl was clumsy, she looked weak and not Luna material
