Ted’s POV

As Waterman comes into the arena, I hear Sabrina gasp. I guess she thought the human servant was Waterman. Oh, I wish.

Herbert Waterman has two inches on me. His reach is amazing. We are evenly matched strength wise. His only weakness is his footwork. In both human and wolf form, the guy has no balance.

Bill reminds me over mindlink to just keep moving and Herbert won’t be able to keep up.

Douglas meets us in the middle as our packs fill the seats. I notice he smells like sex with Lynn. Enjoy the pillow princess buddy, I got a real tiger.

Waterman takes a step back from both of us. Yeah, get good and jealous buddy, make you more stupid.

“The rules are simple. The first one to tap out, or get knocked out, loses. The stakes are simple. The winner decides the terms of the peace between your packs,” Douglas tells us. “You may fight only in human form for the first ten minutes. Any shifting before the timer, and you will be disqualified.”
