I found Lucian in his study, sifting through files with a frown on his face, oblivious to the attacks outside the house, like I had expected him to.

“I knew you would be here,” I sneered at him, slowly walking into the study, revealing myself.

He looked so startled to see me, it was laughable. I could see a bunch of emotions flicker through his face, but he settled on the one that was most familiar. Hate.

“You,” he glowered. “What are you doing here? How did you bypass my security?”

I snorted, opening the door to show the piles of men laying down on the cemented floor, unconscious. “These men?”

He gritted his teeth, but he didn’t say anything.

“Now, I’m sure that you know why I’m here. Surrender your Pack now, or otherwise, I will take it from you the hard way,” I simply told him, paving up and down the office.

“And if I don’t?”

I grinned. Oh, it would be so much fun to smash his face in without any more distractions.
